Teaching based on Technical English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has the greatest impact in the academic process of the students and professionals around the 21st century. In the present year, the English language is identified with the utilization of technical topics in various areas of knowledge, the principal idea compares the effect of the Industrial Engendering Major in Santa Elena province. The present research project has an essential impact to resolve a real necessity to the development of the reading skills. It has been possible to gather information starting with a background that describes how the need was founded and how the problem is develop into two variables. Adapting quantitative research based on a perspective of exploratory and descriptive research were necessary to develop a survey for forty-eight students from Industrial Engineering and two English Teachers. After the methodology process, the proposal was designed thanks for the data collection and the real need. It can be concluded that Technical English is an important fact that learners need to achieve for the development of their academic profile.
