Description

This research is done for a company that develop the activities in the commercial sector. It has been working on the purchase of imported shoes, clothes and sport equipment in the whole country for several years. The company does not have an occupational safety and health management system, so it has been suggested to the General Manager the need of the design an occupational safety and health management system based on the MODELO ECUADOR, that could be implanted in the company. Since the company does not have an occupational safety and health management system, it has not done the previous diagnosis of the legal technic fulfillment of the safety and health management, and it has not identified the risks either, so they have not been measured or evaluated.
La empresa donde se realizó el trabajo de investigación pertenece al sector comercial. Desde hace varios años se ha dedicado a la comercialización de zapatos, ropa y equipo deportivo importados, en todo el territorio nacional. La empresa al momento no cuenta con un Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud Laboral, por lo que se ha planteado a la Gerencia General la necesidad de diseñar un Sistema de Gestión integral de seguridad y salud laboral, basado en el MODELO ECUADOR, que podría ser implantado en la empresa. Al carecer la empresa del sistema de gestión y salud laboral, no ha realizado el diagnóstico inicial de cumplimiento técnico legal de seguridad y salud laboral, y adicionalmente tampoco se han identificado los riesgos, por lo cual no han sido medidos ni evaluados.
