El presente trabajo de tesis está relacionado al problema que presenta la Facultad de Diseño, Arquitectura y Artes de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato, que tiene como objetivo analizar la situación actual en cuanto a espacios interiores necesarios para el desenvolvimiento óptimo de actividades académicas y de recreación en dicha facultad, además, realizar una propuesta de diseño que cumpla con las expectativas y requerimientos demandados por sus ocupantes mediante el estudio de una arquitectura efímera, diseño modular y funcionalidad de los espacios, seguido de la realización de una investigación bibliográfica documental y de campo, aplicando encuestas a los afectados con el fin de obtener resultados reales a cerca de la problemática y las necesidades que presenten los usuarios y conocer los beneficios y factibilidad que puede tener la propuesta del diseño. El proyecto investigado contribuye al bienestar de la comunidad universitaria y en general de establecimiento educativo, ya que genera demanda y prestigio para la universidad al contar con espacios necesarios para el desarrollo de actividades académicas, de alojamiento y recreación con características formales, funcionales y de confort, además de contar con mobiliario óptimo para un mejor desenvolvimiento y organización espacial donde los principales beneficiarios son estudiantes, docentes y administrativos de la universidad.
This thesis makes a statement to the problematic presented by the School of Design, Architecture and Arts of the Technical University of Ambato, which aims to analyze the current situation regarding interior spaces, needed for the optimal development of academic and recreation activities and in such school. Additionally this work makes a design proposal that meets the expectations and demands of its occupants by an ephemeral study of architecture, modular design and functionality of spaces, this followed by a Bibliographic, documental and field search, applying surveys to those affected in order to get real results on the problems and needs that the users present, and thus we will know the benefits and feasibility that may the design proposal have. The investigation project contributes to the welfare of the university community and in general to the institution, it will generate demand and prestige for the university when it comes to have the needed space for the development of academic activities, accommodation and recreation, with formal, functional and comfort characteristics; in addition to the optimal furniture and spatial organization where the main beneficiaries are the students, the faculty and the administrative staff of the university.
