Summary:In the present research, we analyzed each of the variables of savings and credit cooperative performance with focus on the Good Living in Imbabura province, in order to know if these cooperatives are complying with the universal principles, so that they can eliminate all the barriers and weaknesses that these organizations have, through the principles of Popular and Solidarity Economy and cooperativism, and likewise improve the relationship with the partners. The types of research used were bibliographical and field as well as inductive, deductive, qualitative, quantitative, analytical, synthetic, historiological and also expert methods were taken into account in order to identify the causes of the problem and suggest solutions to improve their social stability with the community, techniques such of the survey, structured interview, internal consistency, Delphi, Cronbach's alpha, diagram cause effect, among others, in addition the instruments used were an interview guide and a questionnaire. With the results presented, it was possible to propose an improvement plan for these entities with the aim of finding possible solutions to exclude weak points of the cooperatives, in this area were identified the area of improvements, actions of improvements, to discover the strengths and general strategies that these organizations have with their environment and thus to correct the problems that are presented within them in the field studied.
