Opis
Streszczenie:The objective of the research was to evaluate the agronomic and economic effectiveness of liquid fertilization in hard yellow corn under rainfed conditions. A DBCA with AxB+N factorial arrangement was used, with seven treatments, four repetitions and 28 experimental units. The data was analyzed through the analysis of variance (ADEVA), and the separation of means with Tukey's test at 5% error probabilities. The variables recorded were grain yield (RG), agronomic efficiency of N (EAN) and net economic benefit (BEN). Injected liquid fertilization and surface drenching achieved the greatest increase in plant height, stem diameter, leaf area and biomass dry weight, in relation to granulated fertilization. The injected liquid fertilization was the one that achieved the highest grain yield with an increase of 4.81 and 16.62%; the liquid fertilization in drench, both superficial and injected, increased the agronomic efficiency (EAN) by 24 and 35%, respectively, equivalent to an increase in productivity of 4.49 and 6.37 Kg of grain per Kg of N applied. In the same way, the liquid fertilization injected and drench obtained a higher result in net economic benefit (BEN) the injected with 990 USD and drench 894 USD.
