Análisis de las relaciones de género en el proceso administrativo del grupo organizado para el procesamiento de yuca en San Pablo de Tarugo- Canuto- Chone

The research was conducted in the community of San Pablo de Tarugo, Canuto parish, Chone canton, province of Manabí. Its objective was to analyze gender relations in the rural productive-labor sphere, and its influence on the good practices of the administrative process of the group organized for the processing of yucca in San Pablo de Tarugo-Canuto-Chone. A type of non-experimental research was used, with bibliographic and descriptive research methods; using observation techniques, interactive interview, checklist, gender analysis and descriptive statistics. A type of non-probabilistic, intentional or convenience sampling was employed. Their results showed that in the community, most of the productive and non-productive activities according to gender, represent the relations between women and men in complementary terms, noting that both genders contribute to the social reproduction of the family. Based on the results of the administrative processes, it was evident in each of the stages that most of the processes are carried out empirically, despite the fact that the producers know their functions in a practical and daily way, because they learn by doing, the group does not have written regulations that support these processes, which is a disadvantage for the organized group. There was a tendency towards the reproduction of traditional social relations, of an androgenic culture, affected by changes in yucca's agro-industrial development processes, which constitutes its main means and life strategy. Based on what was found, a good administrative practice plan for yucca processing was developed.
