Sammanfattning:The objective of this research was to determine the incidence of teleworking workload in the staff of the District Education Directorate 23D01 in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas province to measure their performance. Identifying the legal and regulatory standards related to this type of employment, also quantifying the workload assigned to public servants and finally establishing whether the workload produced by telework affects job performance. The methodology used was based on induction, deduction and synthetic analytics. For this, research tools were used such as the interview applied to the director of the institution, a survey and performance evaluation carried out to the officials and dimensioning matrices to measure the workload. Therefore, it is concluded that the officials show that there is a workload and with-it health effects with the teleworking modality. In addition, it was verified through the matrices that there is an imbalance in the distribution of personnel and workload in areas such as the Department of Citizen Attention and the Department of Support, Monitoring and Regulation (ASRE), which is the area where the greatest tasks are carried out, with a total of 40 processes, and that there are also only six public officials, and the matrix threw a requirement of 83 public servants. For this, it is proposed that employees from the areas that have an overload of officials be assigned to those areas that require staffing.
