Evaluación del nivel de presión sonora en las cuatro carreras diurnas, ESPAM MFL

The purpose of the investigation was to evaluate the sound pressure level in the four day careers of the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí, to know the current situation in terms of noise pollution. Methods and techniques were used, with qualitative evaluation, monitoring, measurements every 15 minutes from the time of entry (07:30), until the time of departure from the daytime schedule (16:45) in five days of class, according to the number of students and staff, working within each career. The results determined that the main source of contamination was in the hours of entry and exit of the students and in the hours that they take their respective rest, since the points selected to be monitored showed a level of noise pollution in the corridors of each of them, the highest value being 89.1 and the minimum 40.3 decibels. The information produced showed that in all races similar values were observed in terms of the ranges of maximum, minimum and average decibels versus hours, having the decibels increased in the entry, recess and exit times, being the recess time where the highest decibels were obtained, reaching 87.3 decibels. It is concluded that in the four races there are critical areas that presented noise pollution.
