| Zusammenfassung: | The objective of the research was to obtain alcohol from sugarcane bagasse at the Agua Fría site, Canton Junín, using quantitative method of the experimental type, using observation techniques, bibliographical compilation and surveys. In the study area most of the population is engaged in the production of artisanal alcohol, and although most of the managers have higher education with a relatively recent start of activities, they do not make innovations in the elaboration of the product. The production of alcohol covered the processes from the selection of raw material to its hydrolysis, the experimental unit was made up of 600 g of raw material, with 300 ml of distilled water and 0.5 ml of the acid specified for its treatment, in which (4, 5 and 6 hours) and different H2SO4 concentrations (0.5, 1 and 1.5N) were used, which were measured by degrees of alcohol at the end of the distillation process. By means of ANOVA (CV = 15.64% considered as medium) and Duncan test (5% of significance) it was established that there are significant differences between applied treatments and hydrolysis times; The time of hydrolysis that presented better results was 6 hours (0.57 °) reason why the time of concentration and degrees of alcohol are considered directly proportional; The highest degree of alcohol obtained was in treatment 3 (0.73 °) (0.5 N and 6 hours), values considered appropriate for efficient alcohol production. |
