סיכום: | The research consisted of the application of an education strategy on biosafety and environmental sanitation standards in the municipal market in Bahía de Caráquez in times of COVID-19. It was identified that the municipal market has six sales sections, 25 people work, of which 88% have an age range between 31-50 years and 12% between 26-30, dedicating themselves to registration and market entry activities, cleaning of the premises, product sales, organization of product for the closing of the business. The diagnosis determined that 72% of the municipal market workers have low knowledge about biosafety and environmental sanitation standards, 24% have high knowledge and 4% very high. In relation to behavior, 36% of the workers carry out actions according to the topic addressed. The edumedia-communication strategy was used in the delivery of Talks and projection of videos on the You Tube and National Geographic platforms (how the community is infected by Covid-19, correct hand washing and environmental alert coronavirus), it was reflected that 60% of the participants presented high knowledge and 68% acceptable behavior, with a significant difference before and after the application of the strategy. The matrix with alternative proposals for strengthening was made based on the SWOT, developing a guide for the application of biosafety and environmental sanitation standards, it is concluded that the use of strategy contributed to the knowledge and behavior of municipal market vendors. |
