Summary:The present degree work was carried out in 2020 and its objective was to implement a private cloud solution at the Municipal GAD in Junín canton that contributes to the security and availability of data, and to the optimization of resources in this institution. For this purpose, it was necessary to use the EDER methodology (study, design, execution and review) with its four phases. In the study phase, the information gathering of the company's computer resources was developed with the relevant data to make the corresponding analysis of the same, a comparative table supported by a bibliographic review of the different technologies necessary for everything was developed concerning the deployment of a private cloud and determine the platform to use. In the design phase, a diagram of the selected platform was made with the intervening parties for subsequent implementation. The execution phase allowed to propose the solution according to the previously established information where the services of the private cloud platform were installed and configured on the servers. As the last phase of review, the respective hot and cold tests were carried out to determine the control of the infrastructure, from this work it was possible to verify that the deployment of VMs within the private cloud platform was carried out correctly and the average communication time in the network between VMs was 1 millisecond. In addition, a local SaaS for file hosting was implemented in its basic configuration.
