| description | The present degree work was carried out in 2020 and its objective was to implement a private cloud solution at the Municipal GAD in Junín canton that contributes to the security and availability of data, and to the optimization of resources in this institution. For this purpose, it was necessary to use the EDER methodology (study, design, execution and review) with its four phases. In the study phase, the information gathering of the company's computer resources was developed with the relevant data to make the corresponding analysis of the same, a comparative table supported by a bibliographic review of the different technologies necessary for everything was developed concerning the deployment of a private cloud and determine the platform to use. In the design phase, a diagram of the selected platform was made with the intervening parties for subsequent implementation. The execution phase allowed to propose the solution according to the previously established information where the services of the private cloud platform were installed and configured on the servers. As the last phase of review, the respective hot and cold tests were carried out to determine the control of the infrastructure, from this work it was possible to verify that the deployment of VMs within the private cloud platform was carried out correctly and the average communication time in the network between VMs was 1 millisecond. In addition, a local SaaS for file hosting was implemented in its basic configuration. |

In addition, a local SaaS for file hosting was implemented in its basic configuration.El presente trabajo de titulación se realizó en el año 2020 y tuvo como objetivo implementar una solución de nube privada en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del cantón Junín que contribuya a la seguridad y disponibilidad de los datos, y a la optimización de recursos en esta institución. Para este propósito fue necesario emplear la metodología EDER (estudio, diseño, ejecución y revisión) con sus cuatros fases. En la fase de estudio se desarrolló el levantamiento de información de los recursos informáticos de la empresa con los datos relevantes para hacer el análisis correspondiente de la misma, también se desarrolló una tabla comparativa apoyada de una revisión bibliográfica de las diferentes tecnologías necesarias para todo lo concerniente al despliegue de una nube privada y determinar la plataforma a utilizar. En la fase de diseño se realizó un diagrama de la plataforma seleccionada con las partes intervinientes para la posterior implementación. La fase de ejecución permitió plantear la solución de acuerdo con la información previamente establecida en donde se instalaron y configuraron los servicios de la plataforma de nube privada en los servidores. Como última fase de revisión se realizaron las respectivas pruebas en frío y caliente para determinar el control de la infraestructura, de este trabajo se pudo verificar que el despliegue de VMs dentro de la plataforma de nube privada se realizó correctamente y el tiempo promedio de comunicación en la red entre VMs fue 1 milisegundo.
