Evaluación de las medidas de bioseguridad aplicadas durante la COVID-19 en los servicios que brinda el GAD Municipal del cantón Chone

The study of the present investigation aimed to evaluate the biosecurity measures applied during COVID-19 in the quality of the services provided by the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Chone Canton in the period 2020-2021, for the proposal of improvement actions. The following methods were applied: inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic, for the execution of the three stages in the investigative process. In the first stage, through an interview, the biosecurity measures that were used in the services provided by the institution during COVID-19 were identified. In the second stage, through the application of citizen surveys, it was possible to determine their quality, where it was found that public servants were not trained for this type of situation, which caused the paralysis of the activities of certain departments. In the third and last stage, for the design of the improvement plan, the results obtained in the information collection instruments were taken into consideration, with the purpose that its implementation helps to optimize the use of biosafety measures, concluding In this way, it is important that these are applied correctly so that the provision of services to the locality is adequate and safe.
