| Summary: | The productive sector cocoa in the country and the province of Manabí presents a problematic very large such as: low productivity, poor internal marketing that does not encourage the producer, lack of economic incentives, lack of funding for leading their crops, etc. With this need sits in the Bolivar in a collection Center came to unify the producers of fine cocoa with aroma in organizations, in order to improve its marketing system and provide fair prices and ensure the improvement of the production of cocoa. Therefore this research work is what I make with the purpose of determining if the system of commercialization of the gathering strength of the Valley Center has contributed to the socio-economic growth in the associated cocoa producers. Through variables such as production, income, health, education, housing and profitability; This analysis it was determined to implement surveys to a population sample of cocoa producers partners, as well as also to a group not associated cocoa producers of Canton Bolívar to determine among these groups the differences and opportunities associated with strength of the Valley. With the implementation of the method of research and evaluation such as surveys and interviews, was identified to be associated represents better productive and economic stability, since this group sells the product directly to national and foreign industries with prices managed by the international stock exchange, ensuring the producer a price more fair and competitive, with a big difference not associated producers who market through other channels of distribution (intermediaries), who offer a price below which really is in the external market. He is also able to identify that the greatest strength of the collection Center are the producers, who deposited all the confidence in this grouping, always motivated to improve the quality of the cocoa, it feels like to be part of this unit of growth and overcoming. But it is important to note that strength of the Valley also has a weakness that can bring great consequences, such as the lack of communication, to make the call to join the many producers of cocoa in the Canton that not even dare to be enjoying the benefits of this integration. |
