Opis
Sažetak:With the objective of evaluating the effect of the probiotic biopreparation of Lactobacillus plantarum on the variables of production in weaning piglets. 24 piglets were used in a DCA with 3 treatments: a control without supply of Lactobacillus plantarum (T1); with application of Lactobacillus plantarum 109 (T2) and 1010 (T3) and 8 repetitions. The data were analyzed with the statistical package InfoStat (2018). The results obtained from the hematological indicators of pigs with and without probiotic supply were found statistical difference (p<0.05), however, the results obtained are within the ranges established in blood hematology. In the nutritional conversion, significant differences (p <0.05) were found between treatments, highlighting at 4 weeks the T1 with (1.85 ± 0.12); followed by T0 with (1.87 ± 0.12) and T3 (2.15 ± 0.12) in their respective order. In weight gain, no significant difference was found between treatments (p> 0.05); where T2 stood out in the final phase (3.12 ± 0.39); followed by T1 (2.76 ± 0.39) and finally T0 (2.45 ± 0.39), T1 was highlighted with 10.11 kg ± 0.39. In the cost/benefit analysis, a higher income was found in animals that were not administered probiotics, which for each dollar invested achieved a benefit of $0.50. It is concluded that the addition of probiotics does not favor weight gain, food conversion and hematological indicators, so that this additive can be used to improve the productive performance in weaning piglets.
