总结: | The objective of the research was to evaluate the relationship between non-compliance with biosafety regulations and the level of biological risks in the municipal markets in Bolívar and El Carmen cantons as a contribution to decision-making in the area of biosafety and public health. The descriptive method was used to define the causes and effects associated with the problem, the analytical method was also used to establish the cause-effect relationship and find specific solutions to the problem of supplying biosafety and occupational safety equipment. The techniques applied were statistical analysis, registration matrix and field observation sheet, as a final result non-compliance with biosafety standards was determined in the study areas, where in both cantons there were factors that increase the mortality rate from Covid-19 (not wearing masks, gloves, or washing hands). In addition, it was stated that knowledge of health is linked to the perception of biological risk, since 85.8% of the surveyed population do not comply with biosafety protocols, showing that municipal markets do not have supervisors who monitor compliance with the safety standards regulations , therefore it was concluded that non-compliance with standards in Bolívar canton was 53.33% associated with medium-level biological risk, while in El Carmen non-compliance with standards was 61.33% associated with high level biological risks, and that in both cities the non-compliance with the norms is directly related to the increase in risks. |
