The loss of actual load 2.9 mca, the pressure in the origin of the side of 33.22 mca (PSI). The tertiary pipe requires a flow in the origin of 17850 L, real and fictional calculated length is 75 m and 90 m respectively, the loss of admissible load of 3.22 mca, the inside diameter and the outside or commercial is 58.1 mm and 63 mm, the loss of load is 1.99 mca, and the pressure in the origin of 34.9 mca (49.6 PSI). The costs involved in designing and implementing irrigation system were $1211,029. |

The costs involved in designing and implementing irrigation system were $1211,029.El presente estudio de investigación se basó en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de riego por aspersión para el cultivo de cacao (Theobromacacao L) en el campus de la ESPAM – MFL‖, realizados los cálculos agronómicos, se establecieron las necesidades hídricas diarias, intervalos y tiempo de riego durante 1 año, resultando que los intervalos de riego son cada 1 día, y el tiempo de riego fluctúa entre 6.42 y 9.51 minutos.Una vez hecho los cálculos del diseño hidráulico, para las tuberías laterales o portaspersores, se estableció un caudal en el origen del lateral de 3150 L/h, y la longitud real y ficticia calculada es de 85 m y 102 m respectivamente, el diámetro interior es de 29.6 m, y el comercial de 32 mm. La perdida de carga real de 2.9 mca, la presión en el origen del lateral de 33.22 mca (PSI). Para la tubería terciaria se necesita un caudal en el origen de 17850 L/h, la longitud real y ficticia calculada es de 75 m y 90 m respectivamente, la perdida de carga admisible de 3.22 mca, el diámetro interior y el exterior o comercial es de 58.1 mm y 63 mm, la perdida de carga es de 1.99 mca, y la presión en el origen de 34.9 mca (49.6 PSI).
