Plan estratégico que fomente la reactivación turística en Manabí

The objective of the research was to design a strategic plan that encourages tourist reactivation in the province of Manabí. The type of research adopted was of a mixed nature with a descriptive approach that for its effect three phases were programmed: the first contemplated the diagnosis of the current post-earthquake situation through bibliographic and document review supported by characterization files, surveys, Interviews and matrices made it possible to establish that the sector after the catastrophe was strongly affected, especially the hotel infrastructure, also identifying other problems that are linked to poor management and poor planning that have delayed the reactivation process in the province. The second phase involved a strategic analysis of the tourism sector through SWOT to evaluate the management that ruled that the strategies to be adopted are those of reorientation, so based on the matrix for this purpose, a total of five guidelines were identified. to achieve local reactivation. Finally, the third phase was aimed at preparing the strategic plan through a file that allowed for an adequate approach that included the mission and vision statement, supported by policies, premises and values, as well as the formulation of programming based on the lines of action that determined a total of six programs and fifteen projects, with their respective evaluation and control sheet, trying to solve the problems identified in the area.
