| description | The work described shows the results of the evaluation management system, implemented in the Language Center of the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí, the system generates the evaluations and it qualifies them through the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) which examines the answers of the students. Inductive and Deductive methods were used through the observation technique and making interviews that allowed the collection and analysis of the information. We used the agile SCRUM methodology for the development of software that consists of three stages: in stage one we performed the product list (Product Backlog), we planned the sprints with their respective functional requirements, in stage two was carried out the development of the sprints and in stage three tests of black box to validate the correct operation of the system. It was used as a Visual Studio 2012 development tool and within it was used the VB.NET programming language, and as a SQL Server database manager system. The results show that the system allows to reduce the time dedicated to these processes. |

The results show that the system allows to reduce the time dedicated to these processes.El trabajo descrito muestra los resultados del sistema de gestión de evaluaciones, implementado en el Centro de Idioma de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí, el sistema genera las evaluaciones y las califica mediante el Reconocimiento Óptico de Marca (OMR) que examina las respuestas de los alumnos. Se utilizaron los métodos Inductivo y Deductivo empleando la técnica de la observación y la herramienta de la entrevista los que permitieron la recolección y análisis de la información. Se utilizó la metodología ágil SCRUM para el desarrollo del software la cual consta de tres fases: en la fase uno se realizó la lista del producto (Product Backlog), se planificaron los sprint con sus respectivos requerimientos funcionales, en la fase dos se llevó a cabo el desarrollo de los sprints y en la fase tres pruebas de caja negra para validar el correcto funcionamiento del sistema. Se usó como herramienta de desarrollo Visual Studio 2012 y dentro de este se empleó el lenguaje de programación VB.NET, y como sistema gestor de base de datos SQL Server.
