| Gaia: | The purpose of this study was to analyze the labor inclusion of people with disabilities in the Joint Municipal Drinking Water Company in Tosagua canton to improve their quality of life. The project focused on the non-experimental method of a descriptive nature, a descriptive, documentary, field research was used, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic methods were used, with the implementation of the interview with the Manager and Director of Human Talent, and the survey conducted with 100 company employees, including 4 with disabilities. It was developed in three stages: in the first, the importance of the labor inclusion of people with disabilities who work in the company was identified. In the second, the current situation of people with disabilities was diagnosed and in the third stage, alternatives were proposed through an action plan for the consequent improvement in quality of life. The results obtained reflected that there is a lack of measures and working conditions to promote respect and equality. In addition, there are people with disabilities who cannot perform in the best way in the activities assigned to them by their superiors. Finally, a failure to comply with Art. 47 of the Organic Law on Disabilities on labor inclusion. Because of this, an action plan was made to promote equality and labor inclusion of people with disabilities in the EMMAP in Tosagua canton. |
