Riassunto:The effect of three synchronization protocols (J-Synch + eCG, modified J-Synch + eCG and conventional) for fixed-time insemination in the reproductive response of Senepol heifers, in El Napo farm of the Agricultural Company “El Naranjo SA”, from Manabí province. The methodology applied was based on the analysis of variance, T test and Shapiro Wilk, the information of the 60 heifers of “El Napo” farm was processed in the InfoStat program (2018). 90% of heifers were obtained with the presence of heat, the majority in the conventional protocol, without significant differences (p> 0.05). The follicular size at the withdrawal of the device and dominant pre-ovulatory was J-Synch + eCG, this does not differ from the rest (p> 0.05). While the corpus luteum the J-Synch + eCG protocol presents differences (p <0.05). Estrogen concentrations at withdrawal from the conventional protocol device differ from the rest (p <0.05); however, the level of pre-ovulation estrogens in the J-Synch + eCG protocol presents significant differences with the other two treatments (p <0.05). The 11-day post-IATF progesterone level of the J-Synch + eCG protocol does not differ from the conventional one (p> 0.05) but does differ with modified J-Synch + eCG (p <0.05). A 38.33% pregnancy rate was shown in the protocols, being higher in J-Synch + eCG (55%), without significant differences (p> 0.05), but numerical. The greatest benefit / cost was presented in J-Synch + eCG with 1.65, generating $ 0.65 for every dollar invested.
