To obtain biomass data, a mathematical calculation was applied that consists of taking the weight of the pasture of one square meter in order to identify the weight produced per hectare. The results obtained showed that the Savoy grass at 25 days obtained a weight of 12900 kg, unlike on day 35 which yielded a weight of 13200 kg, and finally on day 45 it showed a weight of 13500 kg, that is why it has become one of the most recommended for warm tropics since its rusticity is one of the great advantages it has and it shows its efficiency through its weight produced. Finally, it is recommended to manage the pastures correctly since this opens a door of benefits that will allow farmers to keep animals in great body condition, which in turn will make it possible to achieve the proposed goals.

Finally, it is recommended to manage the pastures correctly since this opens a door of benefits that will allow farmers to keep animals in great body condition, which in turn will make it possible to achieve the proposed goals.En el presente trabajo de titulación se analizaron los diferentes días de rebrote del pasto Saboya (Megathyrsus maximus) con el propósito de conocer cuál es el punto que genera mayor aporte de biomasa forrajera para el consumo animal, esta investigación es no experimental y permitió evaluar el pasto Saboya (Megathyrsus maximus) a los 25, 35 y 45 días de rebrote. Para la obtención de datos de la biomasa se aplicó un cálculo matemático que consiste en tomar el peso del pasto de un metro cuadrado con el propósito de identificar el peso producido por hectárea. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que el pasto Saboya a los 25 días obtuvo un peso de 12900 kg, a diferencia del día 35 que arrojo un peso de 13200 kg, y por último el día 45 mostro un peso de 13500 kg, es por ello que se ha convertido en uno de los más recomendables para trópicos cálidos ya que su rusticidad es una de las grandes ventajas con las que posee y éste muestra su eficiencia por medio de su peso producido.
