| Резюме: | The fish processing sector brings large loads of organic pollution and salinity to the receiving waters. The objective of this research was to study the effect of the concentration of efficient microorganisms on the efficiency of the treatment of sewage sludge from fishing industries. The study was developed through a simple DCA (3 treatments and 3 repetitions). Prior to the treatment, a period of acclimation and growth of the efficient microorganisms used as inoculum was carried out during 20 days. The execution time of the experiment was 15 days in three different concentrations of microorganisms (4; 6; 8 and 7%). The evaluation of the performance of the treatments was developed through laboratory tests and statistical analyzes. The data was processed and analyzed in SPSS 23.0. It was found that the concentration of 10% was the most optimal for the treatment of waste from fishing industries with a removal percentage of 97.78% for BOD5 and 95,06 for COD. The study showed that for both parameters there are significant differences (p <0.05) for both BOD5 and COD. The treated sewage sludge also showed indicators that they had been efficient at the time of perceiving that the aromas were not as intense as the initial samples, without treatment; which made it feasible for its reuse in composting processes, totally friendly with the environment. |
