Efecto de un biofertilizante artesanal en el crecimiento y rendimiento forrajero del pasto de corte

This research was conducted at the Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí “Manuel Félix López,” located in El Limón, Calceta, Manabí province, with the aim of evaluating the effect of an artisanal biofertilizer (biol) on the growth and forage yield of cut grass. The study demonstrated that the application of biol, both to the soil and as a foliar spray, had a positive and significant effect on the crop’s morphophysiological variables, notably plant height, leaf area, and dry biomass. The highest doses (80% and 100% for soil application, and 80 mL/L and 100 mL/L for foliar application) achieved the best performance, approaching the results obtained with chemical fertilization, demonstrating that biol is a sustainable and efficient alternative.
