| Итог: | The following research work aimed to implement the analytical method by UV - visible spectrophotometry for the determination of Apparent Color and True Color in purified bottled, drinking and surface water, in the CESECCA laboratory of the Laica Eloy Alfaro University of Manabí. 90 tests were carried out to determine the content of color units (each) based on the NTE INEN 2200 (2017) standard and the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater 23rd edition. 18 tests were carried out for the determination of apparent color and true color in purified bottled water and the same number of tests for the determination of the content of True Color and Apparent Color in drinking water and surface water. The calculations will be applied to the results of each matrix. From this, it is concluded that the analytical method used to measure color in water satisfies the acceptance criterion that establishes that the relative error is equal to or less than 10% and that the accuracy is between 90% and 110%. The results of this study confirm the UV-visible spectrophotometric method as appropriate for determining color in different types of water, providing a reliable procedure that allows guaranteeing water quality according to national and international standards. |
