Beskrivelse
Summary:Animal production systems are affected by different factors, which decrease productivity, among them parasitic diseases, the objective was to evaluate the efficacy of four antiparasitic drugs (albendazole, doramectin, fenbendazole, levamisole) and a control group over 50 mestizo cows in milk production, a completely randomized design was applied with ten repetitions the means were compared with the Tukey test (P <0.05). The initial and final weights were evaluated by a paired Student's T test, the data were run in the InfoStat 2018 statistical package. Were taken Stool samples on days 0 (before applying the treatments), 7, 14 and 21 (post treatment). A quantitative diagnosis was made using the McMaster technique to determine the number of eggs per gram and the reduction of oviposition. The anthelminthic resistance was determined by the percentage of efficacy and no resistant parasites were found. The results show that the four treatments were equally efficient for antiparasitic control, with a total reduction of eggs per gram at 21 days, finding a highly significant difference (P <0.01) with respect to the control group. In addition, all treated animals had a greater average weight gain of all treatments of 2.3 kg in 21 days. It is concluded that all treatments are equally efficient for the control of nematodes, the treatment with fenbendazole turned out to be more economical in comparison with the other treatments.
