Plan de desarrollo sostenible para promover el turismo rural en el sitio “Tablada de Sánchez”, parroquia Santa Rita, cantón Chone

This sustainable development plan that aims to promote rural tourism in Tablada de Sánchez site, parish of Santa Rita, Canton Chone was developed on the basis of a diagnosis to understand the current status of the site, whose methodology consisted primarily in the collection of information and the development of the SWOT Matrix. In addition, a survey was conducted of the market for which 203 surveys were developed to foreign visitors to know the profile of the potential tourist. Then an array of Competitive Profile (M.P.C.) was developed in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Tablada de Sánchez site before the competition and through the observation the offer was determined, whose section is complemented with the use of the array of tourist potential in order to know the level of the potential tourist of the surrounding resources. With the results of these two stages and with reference to PLANDETUR 2020, strategies, programs and projects are designed and belong to a third and last section where it is developed in the proposal of the plan, which contains a total of 9 programs and 15 projects. Therefore, Tablada de Sanchez had the potential necessary to develop tourism, but with the connection to other nearby resources and with the maximum use of their competitive advantages as are the resettlement, the close relationship with the dam of Rio Grande and its natural environment with which one can open doors to the market, specially foreign ones.
