Some angles stand out, such as 2.1° (17.5% in 10,900 km²) and 8° (12% in 7,683 km²), which present the highest percentage of drainage directions in relation to the terrain topography. Terrain slopes were also considered, and it was found that 30% (18,754 km²) of the sub-basin area presents slopes of 15.2°. The topography is characterized by being moderate, combining relatively flat terrain with some gentle slopes. In terms of the Topographic Humidity Index (ITH), values of 7.3 were obtained, covering the greatest extension of the study area, occupying 43.62% (27,216 km²) of the territory. Followed by the humidity indexes 5.6, which cover 21% (13,702 km²), making it possible to establish that in the northern and northwestern region of the Carrizal river sub-basin there are areas of "High" and "Very High Flooding Regime", while the northeastern, eastern and southwestern areas present a "Low" and "Very Low Flooding Regime", demonstrating that the topographic humidity index influenced the categorization of the flood risk of the study area, so the following is accepted. |

La red de drenaje de la subcuenca exhibe una densidad notable de cursos de agua y canales de drenaje en la parte noroeste y este. Se destacan algunos ángulos, como 2,1° (17,5% en 10.900 km²) y 8° (12% en 7.683 km²), que presentan el mayor porcentaje de direcciones de drenaje en relación con la topografía del terreno. Las pendientes del terreno también fueron consideradas, y se encontró que un 30% (18.754 km²) del área de la subcuenca presenta pendientes de 15,2°. La topografía se caracteriza por ser moderada, combinando terrenos relativamente planos con algunas suaves inclinaciones. En términos de Índice Topográfico de Humedad (ITH), se obtuvieron valores de 7,3, que abarcan la mayor extensión del área de estudio, ocupando un 43,62% (27.216 km²) del territorio. Seguido de los índices de humedad 5,6, que cubren el 21% (13.702 km²), permitiendo establecer que en la región norte y noroeste de la subcuenca del río Carrizal se encuentran las zonas de "Alto" y "Muy alto Régimen de Inundabilidad", mientras que las áreas noreste, este y suroeste presentan un "Bajo" y "Muy Bajo Régimen de Inundabilidad", demostrando que el índice topográfico de humedad incidió en la categorización del riesgo de inundación del área de estudio, por lo cual se acepta la idea a defender.
