Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:The objective of the research was to determine the morphological and physiological characteristics of nine ancestral selections of National cacao in Manabí province. This took place in Piedra de Plata town and in the Camarones Ecological Reserve in Manabí province. The study was developed under a random factorial AXB block design, where physiological parameters such as photosynthesis rate (A), transpiration rate (E), stomatal conductance (gs), intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) and efficiency were evaluated of water use (EUA = A / E). Also, morphological variables such as characteristics of the plant and the leaf. The data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, separation of means with the Tukey test at 5% probability. The results showed significant statistical differences between genotypes and localities for variables A, E, gs, Ci and EUA. The genotypes with the highest photosynthetic rates were 2, 5 and 6 in the Piedra de Plata locality and clones 2, 7 and 9 in the Camarones Ecological Reserve locality with averages of 8.04 to 9.26 μmol.mol-1 product of the high gs, and clones 4, 2 and 9 have better WUE. The cocoa genotypes in the two locations have similar morphological characteristics in both plant morphology and leaf characteristics.
