Gaia:This research was done in the laboratories of the agricultural area of the ESPAM-MFL, its objective was to isolate bacteria with cellulolytic activity on fresh soil in teak plantation (Tectona grandis) in pechiche (Vitex gigantea) at a depth of 10 and 20 centimeters. The research is divided in field and laboratory phases, and it consisted of five bio essays. The field phase consisted in taking soil samples and the laboratory phase in the prosecution and sowing of the soil samples in different cultivation methods, in the bioassay 1 was isolated 131 bacteria strains at different depths. In bioassay 2 was evaluated the cellulolytic activity of the isolated strains revealing hydrolysys halos by using red congo at 1% and NaCl 0.1M in a Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) at 1% in cultivation. Only 15 strains of the 131 strains had cellulolytic activity. In bioassay 3 set out a DCA with 4 replicates and it evaluated the growth halo of the 15 selected strains in the bioassay 2 giving as result the highest averages in strain 2 with 6.15mm, the 3 with 6.48mm and the 10 with 7.8mm. With the objective to comprise a microbial consortium in the bioassay 4 we made antagonistic tests of the strain 2, 3 and 10, resulting that the strains can grow together. In the bioassay 5 the strains that had a higher cellulolytic activity and better growth on CMC way were conserved in eppendorf tubes at 4°C in the microbiology laboratory of the agricultural area of the ESPAM-MFL for future research.
