要約:The main objective of this research was to evaluate the work performance of public servants in the administrative area of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security in Chone canton for the improvement of productivity in the service, period 2021-2022, which began by applying the various types of research, in this case the field that allowed to go to the place of study to apply the techniques, the bibliographic method which helped to familiarize the researchers with the subject of study, on the other hand two techniques were applied that helped to analyze the model job performance evaluation in the productivity of public servants, among them the interview and the survey were applied to diagnose job performance, these were elaborated through questions, therefore the Likert scale was also used and the SPSS which allowed to know the most relevant shortcomings such as the lack of administrative control, the lack of ease in the workers to carry out their work activities, little supervision of the collaborators of the work carried out, little motivation towards the workers in the face of change and therefore, they do not have emerging plans for any inconvenience, so it is concluded that thanks to the study carried out, it was possible to solve these inconveniences by proposing an improvement plan in order to contribute to the growth and development of the institution.
