Resumo: | This study aimed to design a Tourist Complex that promotes the rural development of the Calceta parish, Province of Manabí. The research is descriptive and explanatory with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research process consists of six phases, the first one focused on a situational diagnosis based on the economic, socio-cultural and environmental dimensions of the parish, which allowed identifying the general characteristics and the current state of the tourist situation in the area. In the second phase, a market study was carried out to obtain data on local supply and demand, with these results the marketing and marketing strategies of the products / services of the Tourist Complex (CT) were defined. In the third phase, the technical study of the CT was carried out, defining the physical distribution and the production processes of the services that will be offered in the establishment. In the fourth phase, the organizational and administrative structure of the business based on the legal body of tourism at the country level was described. In the fifth phase, the impact assessment and definition of the operational load capacity were carried out, determining that the project is of low adversity. Finally, the financial evaluation of the CT was carried out, with the result that the IRR (11%) is greater than the ECR (9,23) and the NPV is $21,851.78, thus considering the business as profitable. |
