Sumario:The purpose of this research is to study the effect of a biostimulant from the sugar industry on the red pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus) crop. Two treatments were established: Conventional fertilization (T1) and conventional fertilization plus biostimulant (T2). In each evaluation, 20 pitahaya poles were established, with a total of 40 experimental units. The variables studied were: number of shoots, flower buds, flowers and fruit, shoot length, fruit weight, diameter, firmness and Brix degrees. The statistical design used was t Student for paired samples. The treatments with both conventional fertilization and biostimulant application did not show significant statistical differences (p>0.05). It is concluded that the application of the biostimulant from the sugar industry was not effective in increasing the growth, development and yield of red pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus).
