A DBCA was implemented, with a distribution of 3960 eggs in three treatments according to the following characteristics: ovoid eggs of brown shell (T0), rounded eggs (T1) and white eggs (T2). Incubation parameters were measured: percentage of fertility (%), percentage of infertility (%), percentage of embryonic death (%), percentage of first chicks (%), percentage of hatchability (%), weight of yolk sac up to five days (g) and weight of chicken COBB 500 (g). Statistical differences were obtained (p <0.05) where T0 was highlighted for fertility variables (84.17 ± 1.07); first chicks (84.17 ± 1.50); hatchability (67.65 ± 1.29) and T1 in embryonic death (7.73 ± 0.64); On the other hand, there was no statistical difference (p> 0.05) in the infertility variables (6.21 ± 0.43), weight of the yolk sac (5.70 ± 0.68) and chicken weight at birth ( 47.01 ± 0.78) in which the T1 was highlighted. Regarding microbial quality, microbiological tests determined the existence of Mycoplasma gallisepticum in chickens born from all treatments. From the benefit / cost ratio, there was a greater gain in Q0 with $ 203.01 USD. It is concluded that the morphology of the eggs did not disadvantage the birth weight of BB chicks and the productive yield in Cobb 500 chickens. |

Se implementó un DBCA, con una distribución de 3960 huevos en tres tratamientos de acuerdo a las siguientes características: huevos ovoides de cascarón marrón (T0), huevos redondeados (T1) y huevos de cascarón blanco (T2). Entre los parámetros de incubación se midieron: porcentaje de fertilidad (%), porcentaje de infertilidad (%), porcentaje de muerte embrionaria (%), porcentaje de pollitos de primera (%), porcentaje de incubabilidad (%), peso del saco vitelino hasta los cinco días (g) y peso del pollo COBB 500 (g). Se obtuvieron diferencias estadísticas (p<0,05) donde se destacó el T0 para las variables fertilidad (84,17 ± 1,07); pollitos de primera (84,17 ± 1,50); incubabilidad (67,65 ± 1,29) y el T1 en muerte embrionaria (7,73 ± 0,64); por otra parte no se presentó diferencia estadística (p>0,05) en las variables de infertilidad (6,21 ± 0,43), peso del saco vitelino (5,70 ± 0,68) y peso de pollos al nacimiento (47,01 ± 0,78) en las cuales se destacó el T1. En cuanto a la calidad microbiana, los exámenes microbiológicos determinaron la existencia de Mycoplasma gallisepticum en los pollos nacidos de todos los tratamientos. A partir de la relación beneficio/costo, se evidenció una mayor ganancia en el T0 con $203,01 USD.
