Summary: | The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of the age of breeding (37 and 52 weeks) and the location of the egg during incubation (upper, Middle & lower) on production indicators and the quality of the BB chick. It is developed under a completely randomized with bivariate array design. The variables measured were: weight of eggs, fertility, weight loss in incubation, hatching, hatchability, chicks of first, second, scrap, chopped egg and embryonic mortality (early, middle, and late). The result was: the egg weight was different between the factors in study (p< 0,05); fertility was greater for 37 weeks (p< 0,05); weight loss were significant (p< 0,05) to study factors; hatchability was greater at 37 weeks players with superior location; most of the chickens hatched to the hours 486±1 was one of the groups 52 weeks; at the 492±1 hours there were differences in the campaign of hatching at the age of 37 weeks and lower location. Early, middle and late embryonic mortality showed differences among factors in study. It is concluded that the age is an important factor that is involved in the hatchability and Chick bb quality parameters. |
