Evaluación del cumplimiento de los requisitos de calidad de la Norma ISO 9001:2015 frente a la cuarta revolución industrial del sector florícola de Cayambe

This academic research seeks to evaluate compliance with the quality requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard against the fourth industrial revolution of the floriculture sector of Cayambe, for the definition of proposals for improvement of quality management, for its development first had to identify the dimensions and indicators of the variables quality management and fourth industrial revolution, such as the use of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and issues associated with technology 4. 0, which was carried out by a literature review contemplating each of the variables of study, then determined the current situation of the floricultural sector facing the fourth industrial revolution through the survey applied to 24 companies in the floricultural sector of Cayambe, resulting in that most of these organizations do not have a QMS implemented in their ranks, also currently do not apply or have the necessary knowledge about the technologies 4. Therefore, proposals were established to counteract these risks and threats by developing a risk matrix prioritizing each of the causes presented, subsequently and through the 5w+1h matrix key elements are highlighted such as the lack of effective controls for quality management and that no budget is planned or allocated for the integration of the quality management system and apathy of employees towards the use of 4.0 technology in the company
