Descrição
Resumo:The main objective of this research is to diagnose innovation management for the development of the tourism sector in Puerto López. The methodological design was descriptive with a mixed approach, structured in three phases. In the first phase, the study area was characterized, and multidimensional aspects were also considered, where it was found that the main economic activity is tourism. In addition, the profile of the tourist focused on the technological service in the context of COVID-19 was analyzed. As a second phase, indicators were evaluated and designed to measure management and innovation in the territory based on the criteria of experts, where it was determined that there is a need to take actions to improve the quality of services with the implementation of technological tools. In the third and last phase, strategic innovation guidelines were proposed for the destination's tourism development, with the main axis being the development of programs and projects that allow the integration of the chain of actors in the management of tourism activity. In addition, the main strategy is to establish new programs and projects aimed at innovation for the improvement of territorial management in the destination, for which a follow-up and control plan is proposed as a long-term priority.
