Zoonosis y vectores ambientales en la población del sitio Pastora del cantón Tosagua

The objective of the present research was to evaluate the zoonosis and environmental vectors on the La Pastora site of the canton Tosagua. Were conducted surveys to the population, as well as observation sheet in the order to rescue the degree of incidence of the exposed problems. Representative water samples were randomly sampled from 12 shallow wells at the rate of three samples per well for microbiological analysis, based on regulations INEM 2226:2000. The results of analyses focused on fecal and total coliforms exceeded the maximum permissible limits established in the Book VI of the Unified Text of Environmental Secondary Legislation (TULSMA). Based on the results found, an analysis was carried out a statistical analysis of the relationship between the determining vector and the zoonosis by non-parametric testing of Kruskal-Wallis where significant differences are shown (p<0.5) in the fecal and total coliforms count. Finally, a sanitary management instruction was elaborated which was socialized and granted to the population of the La Pastora site of the canton Tosagua in the order to safeguard the well-being of the population, the same that was received in the positive way. Determining that the environment vector water has an impact on the prevalence of zoonoses, which has been proven by the statistical diagnoses provided by the MOH of La Estancilla from the parish Angel Pedro Giler of the canton Tosagua, identifying that among the diseases that most affect the population are the gastrointestinal.
