Tóm tắt:The research aimed to evaluate medicinal plants to implement a natural pharmacy community that allows its availability, evaluation of applications, and community outreach in the middle of the canton Balsa Bolivar. Pedagogical method was used school garden as natural pharmacy, and the descriptive method that allowed the application of the techniques of observation, visits, travel and field surveys, this finding allowed the problems in the community. As a result of local knowledge, we identified eight species of medicinal plants known and used by the inhabitants, and 32 other species were identified that were collected from neighboring communities of Canton, of these species are known their uses and properties. The 40 species of medicinal plants identified for their availability, uses and promotion assessment gave way to the implementation of the natural pharmacy catalog community with its own instructions, recognizing the value of naturally medicinal use of these species, in addition to beautify your environment . The socialization process allowed us to recognize the interest and need of the community to diversify their knowledge of medicinal species as sustainable resource ancestral home for the prevention and relief of health ailments. They cited concerns about food security, conservation of species, and the low biodiversity of these species in rural communities of the county. We conclude that natural pharmacies are instruments to preserve local knowledge and biodiversity.
