A randomized complete block design with seven treatments, three replicates and 21 experimental units were used. The main variables recorded were diseased cobs (DS), grain yield (GD) and economic profitability (ER). The data were analyzed with ANOVA and Tukey test (α = 5%). The combined application of CaBZn aminochelate with diatomaceous soil produced a decrease in DS of 33.57 and 50.97 % in relation to the foliar treatments of CaBZn aminochelate without diatomaceous soil and the control, respectively. The RG was increased by 18.73 and 36.50 % by the combined application of CaBZn aminochelate with diatomaceous soil, in contrast to the application of CaBZn aminochelate without diatomaceous soil and the control, in their respective order. All treatments with CaBZn aminochelate and diatomaceous soil achieved an ER greater than 300%, being the dose of 1 L ha-1 of CaBZn aminochelate mixed with diatomaceous soil, the treatment that achieved the highest ER. It is concluded that the foliar application of CaBZn aminochelate and diatomaceous soil was effective in enhancing the yield and profitability of CCN-51 cocoa. |

Se evaluaron tratamientos factoriales de tres niveles de aminoquelato CaBZn (1,0, 1,5 y 2,0 L ha-1) y dos niveles de tierra de diatomeas (con y sin aplicación) y un tratamiento control. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completos al azar con siete tratamientos, tres replicas y 21 unidades experimentales. Las principales variables registradas fueron mazorcas enfermas (ME), rendimiento de grano (RG) y rentabilidad económica (RE). Los datos fueron analizados con ANOVA y prueba de Tukey (α = 5%). La aplicación combinada de aminoquelato CaBZn con tierra de diatomeas produjo una disminución de ME del 33,57 y 50,97 % con relación a los tratamientos foliares de aminoquelato CaBZn sin tierra de diatomea y el control, respectivamente. El RG fue incrementado en un 18,73 y 36,50 % por la aplicación combinada de aminoquelato CaBZn con tierra de diatomeas, en contrate a la aplicación del aminoquelato CaBZn sin tierra de diatomeas y el control, en su respectivo orden. Todos los tratamientos con aminoquelato CaBZn y tierra de diatomeas lograron una RE superior al 300%, siendo la dosis de 1 L ha-1 de aminoquelato CaBZn en mezcla con tierra de diatomeas, el tratamiento que logró la mayor RE.
