Riassunto:The objective of the research was to design a pilot-scale potable plant for the ESPAM-MFL environmental engineering career. With the information obtained about the construction of water treatment plants, the parameters were defined and the water quality was analyzed in the first instance through physical-chemical and microbiological analyzes which determined in excess the parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO) with a value <1.6 mg / l, ammonium 0.2 mg / l and manganese with 0.23 mg / l giving these negative results, at the same time the presence of smell and taste is not felt. For the design of the pilot plant, the research carried out by Herrera and Melo (2016) will be taken as a guide and reference, where it was derived to review which types of processes will achieve the correction of the parameters in excess of which it was decided that it would count on the technologies of Aeration-Flocculator-Filter-Disinfection, for the design of the aeration tower was taken into account the methodology of Cárdenas and Medina (2017) who use an equal relationship between the design flow values, once assembled the prototype proceeded to use the water treatment plant with well water where it could be proven that it was efficient at the time of purification, reprimanding negative values and bringing them within the maximum permissible limits of the Ecuadorian standard INEM 1108: 2014.
