Resumo: | The main objective of this research was to evaluate the motivation and work performance of the administrative public servants at Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí Manuel Félix López, as a contribution to the improvement of their functions. For this reason, to fulfill this objective, the inductive, deductive and analytical-synthetic method was used. In turn, to give greater support to the inquiry, bibliographic, field, exploratory and descriptive research was carried out. That is why the present investigation was carried out through the execution of three stages: in the first one, the theoretical basis of motivation and its importance in the work performance of public servants was investigated, taking into account previously carried out studies and the LOSEP review. In the second one, the level of motivation and work performance of the administrative public servants was diagnosed, through the application of the interview and the survey, in order to collect all the necessary information about the object of study, where it was possible to show that it is important to constantly motivate the staff, so that they perform their activities efficiently. And, finally, in the third, an improvement plan was designed, in which strategies were projected so that they contribute to the institutional improvement of ESPAM MFL. |
