总结:This research aims to design a product of alternative tourism for the conservation of natural and cultural resources in the Sixto Duran Ballen reservoir, in order to boost tourism in the Bolivar canton. The theoretical framework was developed to support the topic being studied, the methodology used corresponds to a scientific, technical, AND descriptive study after applying field research, scientific observation and interviews. For this study it was necessary to make a tourist diagnosis, allowing to define the study area and environmental characterization, the current status of basic services and infrastructure, economic and socio-cultural aspects and the determination of the environmental factors being described. He also proceeded to conduct inventories of natural and cultural resources, a SWOT analysis identified the general problem with particular solution and strategies for consecutively market research focused on domestic demand being identify the tastes and consumer preferences, through a survey that was applied in the Pichincha and Calceta, Quiroga, Membrillo, based on the results of demand and supply to position this product from alternative tourism were established. With the interest of the Sixto Duran Ballen reservoir is a reference for alternative tourism, where they enjoy a natural environment and with the participation of cultural events, but mostly it represents an opportunity for socio-economic development through the creation of direct jobs and indirect community.
