Streszczenie:The present investigation entitled "Marketing strategies applied to gastronomic tourism in times of covid-19: Canuto canton Chone case" deals with how the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic influenced the behavior of frequent customers of gastronomic tourist centers in Canuto parish, therefore, the general objective within this research was to design marketing strategies as a proposal for the reactivation of gastronomic tourism in times of COVID-19: Case Canuto canton Chone, the applied methodology was based on three stages, first in the diagnosis of the current situation in the tourist-gastronomic centers in the Canuto parish that allow the identification of existing risks and threats, resulting in that although they have the support of government policies for the support of tourist places, the increase in the rate of unemployment produced by the Covid 19 pandemic, not having biosafety plans and the insecurity d latent that this produces in the mind consumers are one of the main problems that overwhelm these gastronomic tourist centers, therefore, the strategies proposed are aimed at generating an improvement in the marketing management of these businesses and biosafety standards, the which were reflected in the promotional plan, where an approach was made to favor their positioning, penetration into new markets, application of segmentation and attracting potential customers, in conclusion, these centers have a positivist vision towards the inclusion of these elements in the future in order to reactivate their economy and be much more productive and profitable.
