Description
Summary:The main objective of this degree work was to develop an Android application for the reading register of drinking water meters in the company EMAARS-EP of La Estancilla Tosagua canton, with the purpose of taking the reading process in an agile, transparent way and making use of technological tools, which facilitate all kinds of tasks in the current era. To achieve compliance with the first objective, an interview was applied as a strategy to collect the data that would be essential for the development of this work and the analytical method was used to achieve the understanding of said data and in that way to determine the functional and not functional of the application. The methodology used to carry out the second objective was Scrum, taking its structure as a reference; in the planning and architecture phase the authors set up the product backlog, sprint backlog and also defined the roles of the work team. In the next phase called execution of the development, the creation of each of the necessary modules was carried out to achieve the desired functionality of the application, this using the Visual Studio Community programming IDE. Later in the last phase called implementation and adaptation, the android application was implemented using the technological resources of the EMAARS-EP and the necessary tests were done to verify its correct functioning, thus covering the objectives set for this degree work.
