After this, the respective socialization of the guide of good environmental practices was carried out to the inhabitants of the Guabal site in a comprehensive manner which evidenced the interest of the inhabitants on the actions and equipment necessary for the proper management of plastic waste for agricultural use, in order to avoid future health problems. |

Se llevaron a cabo 4 actividades; una encuesta a los habitantes del sitio que consta de 8 preguntas para evaluar su conocimiento sobre los desechos plásticos de uso agrícola y la comprensión que tienen respecto a la normativa legal ecuatoriana, revelando que los habitantes del sitio Guabal utilizan agroquímicos en sus cultivos, pero carecen de información y apoyo por parte de las autoridades, así como de un lugar específico para los desechos y suelen ser abandonados al aire libre. Se aplicó una matriz de verificación de las normativas ambientales para evaluar el cumplimiento de la misma, encontrando que los habitantes del sitio Guabal no cumplen con lo establecidos. Se elaboró una Guía de buenas prácticas ambientales para el manejo adecuado de los desechos plásticos de uso agrícola y las consecuencias que estos tienen para el medio ambiente y la salud de los agricultores cuando es manejado de manera incorrecta.
