Description
Summary:The objective of this research is to design a competitive management system to contribute to the improvement of organizational performance in the company DECORCASA CIA. LTDA, located in the city of Manta. The achievement of the study required the implementation of an analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive methodology, supported by a bibliographic and field-based research, supported by consensus techniques such as Kendall and Delphi. The investigation contemplated four phases, beginning with the diagnosis of management by competencies for which research techniques were implemented such as documentary review, interview, survey and observation; in the second phase, the study of the internal processes was carried out, applying the methodology proposed by Parra Ferié (2005) for the selection of the key processes, being necessary to form a team of experts. As an object of study, the Sales process was taken, to which the flowchart and the process record were elaborated, where the relevant information is collected. The skills of both the sales process and the jobs inserted in it were also defined by the team of experts. Finally, a performance evaluation system was structured that included general indicators and 43 specific indicators for sales executive and sales manager positions, not existing before in the company studied.
