Creación de un circuito turístico de las iglesias de los cantones de la zona centro-sur de Manabí

The research proposal was aimed to design a tourist circuit of churches in the cantons of Portoviejo, Montecristi and Manta. To develop the methodological approach using process of traveling, which was organized into phases, stages and methods used in this study, we developed a tourist diagnosis of the cantons involved in the proposal that could be identified cultural attractions, historical and religious based on the highest hierarchy to include them in the track. 12 attractions were selected on a circuit area of 70 km, covering three counties in the south central of the province of Manabí, the segment targeted is family, and is intended to meet the demand for tourists visiting religious shrines, offering a quality service in guided tours. The name selected is Holy Land tours because of the privileged of the Manabitan this area in the field of natural and cultural resources, and aims to promote socio-economic development of the communities involved in tourism, preserving cultural, historical and religious heritage, offering new products to visitors and increasing tourism in the region.
