Etiketle | Özet: | This research focuses on territorial planning in Flavio Alfaro canton, analyzing its influence on the population's quality of life. The problem statement is based on the need to understand and improve land use management to promote local development. The main objectives include diagnosing the influence of territorial planning, identifying key elements that impact quality of life, and designing an action plan to improve territorial development guidelines. The theoretical framework defines territorial planning, describes the Land Use and Management Plan (PUGS), and its components. It also addresses quality of life, its components, and dimensions. The methodology employed follows a mixed approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative research. Bibliographic and field research was conducted using analytical and synthetic methods, as well as interview and survey techniques. The study’s population and sample were carefully selected, with specific variables for analysis. The results include surveys conducted with citizens and interviews with the mayor and the canton’s architect, revealing relevant perceptions and data regarding territorial management. Based on these findings, an action plan was designed with improvement proposals for territorial development and quality of life. The conclusions highlight the need for more effective and participatory territorial planning. It is recommended to implement public policies that strengthen land management and promote sustainable development in Flavio Alfaro. |
