Four treatments were evaluated plus a control with different formulations of agricultural waste material, the content of N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S (mg/kg), CE (dS/m), MO (%), pH, temperature and humidity, to determine the quality of the compost according to the Chilean regulation Nch2880. Data were analyzed using the SPSS-IBM Statistics 26 program and subjected to ANOVA statistical analysis and Tukey's test at 5%. The results determined that the temperature and humidity parameters did not have significant differences during the composting process in each treatment (p>0.05), reaching the highest values of temperature in week 4 and of pH in week 6. The macronutrient content, were significantly influenced (p<0.05) by the amount of material applied in each treatment, T1 had a higher concentration of N (13,500 mg/kg), while T2 had a higher concentration of P (12,550 mg/kg), in addition to T3 where it had the highest concentration of K, Ca, Mg and S (20050, 56850, 11500 and 15200 mg/kg respectively). These values showed that all the treatments are typified for a class B quality compost, because they contain a high salt content; however, T4 has high concentrations of macronutrients, making it a better alternative for use as a substrate. The results were disseminated to the technical and administrative staff of CIIDEA, generating a guide for the use of agricultural residues.

Se evaluaron cuatro tratamientos más un testigo con diferentes formulaciones de material de desechos agropecuarios, se valoró el contenido de N, P, K, Ca, Mg y S (mg/kg), CE (dS/m), MO (%), pH, temperatura y humedad, para determinar la calidad del compost según la normativa chilena Nch2880. Los datos fueron analizados en el programa SPSS-IBM Statistics 26 y sometidos a análisis estadístico ANOVA y prueba de Tukey al 5%. Los resultados determinaron que los parámetros temperatura y humedad no tuvieron diferencias significativas durante el proceso del compostaje en cada tratamiento (p>0.05), alcanzando los valores más altos de temperatura en la semana 4 y de pH en la semana 6. El contenido macronutrientes, fueron influenciados significativamente (p<0.05) por la cantidad de material aplicado en cada tratamiento, el T1 tuvo mayor concentración de N (13500 mg/kg), mientras que el T2 tuvo mayor concentración de P (12550 mg/kg), además del T3 donde tuvo mayor concentración de K, Ca, Mg y S (20050, 56850, 11500 y 15200 mg/kg respectivamente). Estos valores demostraron que, todos los tratamientos están tipificados para un compost de calidad de clase B, por contener alto contenido de sales; sin embargo, el T4 posee concentraciones altas de macronutrientes, convirtiendo en una mejor alternativa para la utilización como sustrato.
